Yes, faulty logic and how easy it is to pick apart is always interesting. But that's the easy part. And yes, it's futile, but one doesn't go on very long with the goal of really changing anyone's mind. As I've said, I went in on the repetitive urging of a friend, though I resisted and resisted, thinking for what do I want to do this? And she's long gone, sick and tired of it and I still hang around.

It's the psychology of long-lasting, seething animosity that's the hard (and interesting) part. What makes someone want to do that? And for what? And the "making mountains out of molehills" as you say. I don't get it. And what's bothersome is I guess I never will. But the mental exercise can't hurt, as you say. Good night.
