Today was all about the semis pretty much wasn't it ? Traders went bidding them up knowing that LRCX would proly beat for the 6th consecutive QTR ...LRCX turned out mixed with a gap n crap on remarks of flat guidance later during CC looking at next qtr and 1rst 1/2 of 07....they love this stock though. yahoo.reuters.com ( they couldn't bid many other things up , Retails at alt , TRAN , storage infrastructure, even INFY sold off a bit from gap to ALT , w/MSFT taking a breather too, so they went bargain hunting ;-) Early on even bounced MRVL $1 off the JPM downgrade which was kind of telling & RMBS/SNDK early momos .... did notice some bottoming action in AMD past two days and this am , was a pretty low risk trade investorshub.com Once again have been seeing often on the 60min is these last exhaustion trips into the OS putting in a floor and finally a short covering bounce . (And many that were short now go long )
