Transmeta claims Intel infringes on 10 patents

Transmeta Corp. said Wednesday it filed a patent infringement suit in U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware against Intel Corp., claiming $100 billion in microprocessors from the Intel Pentium class product line have been shipped to date with Transmeta technology.

The complaint requests an injunction against Intel's continuing sales of infringing products as well as monetary damages, including royalties on infringing products, treble damages and attorneys' fees.
