First of all, I have absolutely no respect for the BBC as a journalistic shop any more..I was in Germany this summer during the Israeli/Hezbollah war with only 2 English speaking channels on TV..nuff said...

AS I told Dale, I was being sarcastic..I also suppose that people can look at these numbers in different ways:

1) It can validate that we shoulda' secured all borders as a first step(my opinion)

2)We shoulda followed MacArthur's way in Japan

3) We shoulda' nuked them in the first place

4) etc, etc, etc

you are responsible for the harm that results from your interference

Our military is taking responsibility,imo..they are rebuilding everywhere in Iraq..it's the extremists that are obstructing this process..how else are they to show us they're taking responsibilty but by rebuilding bridges, schools, hospitals and other infrastructure?

Being responsible requires stepping up to inconvenient truths like that.

I agree..what much bothers me is that the vocal folk in the papers against this war have to also look at the people and places in Iraq that are experiencing quiet for the first time in their lives..another inconvenient truth for the absolutist anti-Iraqi war activists..
