Bush can try, and I guess you can too. I'm not convinced.
Surely you are not reading my posts in a way to comprehend what I'm talking about in this particular thread..
As I said, I was talking/complaining about wanting accurate and fair reporting from the media, like, "this is what's wrong and this is what's going right, and they don't add up to victory!"
I did not get involved in a discussion or argument with you that there aint' no civil war, and all the other horrific things going on there..
The Dems ONLY crime (imo) was being stampeded by 9/11 (and Bush) to vote for a war that had nothing to do with terrorism
Surely, you must be kidding..if not, then unfortunately, you have no accurate grasp of the history of terrorism events..and quite important, imo, it's already been obvious that you(Eleutheria) and your fellow Dems who have not lived nor worked nor traveled in Muslim/Arab countries(nor have much contact with Arabs and other Muslim immigrants in this country), have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to the Muslim culture and how we should handle terrorism.. because if you did, it would be a given to you that ONLY diplomacy does NOT work with them..just like ONLY Military does NOT work...
I've been told that Bush won't admit mistakes about Iraq because he's afraid that Dems would take off with his admission and use it against him..I don't know how true that is..I disagreee with him not admitting that he messed up the execution of the post-occupation..he should, no matter his fears, and move forward with a different strategy..yet, I hardly think that the bashing Dems would embrace him, forgive him and come up with helpful solutions..because they, just like the Repubs, are thinking about their own sorry butts..
