You have no idea where I have travelled, and who I have contact with, and yet it's "obvious" to you. Simply because we disagree? I would submit to you that there are many people who have travelled in Muslim/Arab countries, and who do know such people, and who do work with them, and who disagree with you. I know, I know, it's hard to believe- but it's true. You are attempting to use a rhetorical trick there, but it isn't going to work because you are completely off base. Many people who have intimate knowledge of Arab. Muslim culture disagree- that's the way it is with topics, even informed people will disagree. Clearly this may surprise you. On top of that I don't know who you think in the democratic party is advocating using "only diplomacy" with "them" or with anyone else. I certainly never advocated anything so silly. Can you give me a URL to a senator or representative advocating "only diplomacy" in the effort to combat terrorism? I expect a link from you on this matter, or a retraction of the above. Will I be disappointed, I ask myself? |
