Without level 2, Nasdaq day trading is more like gambling. You may get a scalp here and there, but when you start losing, the bleeding doesn't seem to stop. Level 2 will tell you when to get out both on the Ups and the Downs. The nice thing about level 2 is the same information that tells you when your reaching the top also is an indicator that you can now short the stock.

Using level 2 I have shorted stocks on good news. After the MM's run it up, I short and then make a quick point. MM's are so predictable. If their is good news before the open you'll notice the MM's run up the price. I'll watch the Time and Sales and if it appears that their are few buyers to the over-inflated prices, I'll try to short.

The nice thing about Datek is the ability to reverse a position in one trade. I am looking forward to them resolving the problem I had, so I can feel confident using Datek again. From what I have read so far, it looks like Datek will restore my faith in them.

Anyway, I believe SPCOMSTOCK has a one month money back policy. Check it out.
