JCP, another clue of the existence of the left-wing attack machine: phrases, buzzwords, and images that are in common when you compare different local campaigns from coast-to-coast. Some examples: - "Make corporations, especially oil companies, pay their fair share." (Translation: Higher taxes.) - Pictures of Republican opponents with President Bush. - "Culture of corruption." - Footage of firefighters, police officers, school teachers, and nurses saying some pretty nasty things in order to hide partisanship and give the appearance of "ordinary concerned citizens."
