The "Whacky Iraqis" were completely predictable to anyone who had any knowledge of Iraq, which makes them not quite so whacky, imo.

I stand by my position that murdering thousands of civilians at random is senseless and incomprehensible. If you actually comprehend such baffling behavior, that's remarkable.

To me, it makes no more sense than asserting that the recent horrific incidents of school violence are predictable and understandable. There's no rationality to it.

The premeditated, random slaughter of innocents is incomprensible whenever and wherever it occurs.
