Massive dillution today purchasing a company that doesn't earn anything. I don't understand what they are doing and how it could make me money in the next year.

Yeah.. it sure did hurt.. And that might seem to be the assessment of the street.

But Forbes seems to believe that the acquisition positions INAP to compete with AKAM..

And DeBlasio is stating that it should be accretive to earnings in 2008.

I don't know.. the chart's not completely broken, but some serious damage has been done.

I might be incorrect, but I would like to think that DeBlasio will be able to placate the street and convince them that this will put INAP back on the radar screen.

For instance, this article mentions AKAM and VSTH, but no mention of INAP:

VSTH went from $2 to $14/share back in April, so it would appear that INAP didn't buy them at their top, considering VSTH has been nearly cut in half.

So INAP is receiving quite a bit of coverage from this deal. And while initially it might be negative, we may see it turn positive in coming weeks/months.
