CLinton is THE MOST POPULAR PRESIDENT since JFK was murdered by the rightwing in Texas. His 65% approval ratings when he left office were higher than Reagan's or anyone else's. And that 65% was after the outrageously dishonest smear campaign waged against Bill by the rightwing billionaires. If you poll ignorant rightwingers who believe the smears of the anti-CLinton Republicans perhaps he'd fare poorly. But if you poll the general public, you find CLinton is king. There are only two modern presidents who have given us booming economies with surpluses, bi-partisanship, peace, optimism and prosperity, CLinton and JFK. Though if JFK had lived, he would have had to make a decision about Vietnam. Reagan did well on most levels but he left us with a huge deficit. GW Bush however is the deficit king. We are talking about many trillions in new debt to show for the Bush years. Bush is clesarly the worst president of the last century. He has absolutely no successes to show for his six years in office, just failures and corruption.
