You are implying that there is a large group/organization that is dedicated to killing anyone who is unlike them (or does not believe as they do). Furthermore, you are implying that majority of US "terrorist" detainees belong to that category. I disagree with both of these positions, hence the post I wrote. To be more clear, (a) I do not believe there is a large body of such pathological people around (b) people join all kinds of organizations, even extremist ones, for a number of reasons. They can equally choose to leave those organizations for a number of reasons. I do not believe we are capable of separating those who might think that way from others who may be in US custody (c) I do not believe torture is an effective solution to the problem (d) and perhaps most importantly, I live life according to my values and am willing to die for them. I find it very ironic, to say the least, that those who claim to be guardians of American values would rather shred those values to bits than to die for them. ST PS Just how do you know it was only a 2.5 minute water dive? Were you there? And take a good look here Message 22904070 I don't see nice little water pool but pools of blood.
