Shuffle Master, Inc. Announces Update on Delaware State Lottery Contract

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Shuffle Master, Inc. (NASDAQ Global Select Market: SHFL) announced today that it has signed the Delaware State Lottery System multi-terminal video lottery machine contract. Under the terms of the contract, the initial placement consists of 54 units or 270 seats of our Table Master electronic table game platform.

Installations at the state's three lottery venues will commence on October 16, 2006, with all installations expected to be complete by November 30, 2006. The Table Master units will feature a diverse mix of blackjack and poker-based proprietary table game content, including Royal Match 21(TM) Blackjack, Three Card Poker®, Let It Ride Bonus® with 3 Card Bonus(TM) and Dragon Bonus® Baccarat.

Yoseloff, Ph.D. "With installations commencing next week, it is important to note that we have finalized the contract with more units than previously anticipated.
