Which one? The one for copyright or the slander suit against SYMC? ;-)

The copyright one, I don't know. I don't believe MCAF did anything wrong, but my experience with law tells me it's not what's the truth, but what does the judge believe. Of course, there also strategic, monetary, and personal factors. (How many of you believe that Marv Albert did what this woman accused him of? Never mind...bad example...) :-)

MCAF will have to come up with the URL address of the public domain site where the "code in question" is in order to disprove SYMC's claim, in my opinion. Short of that, I don't know. It's very difficult to prove someone stole code unless you have facts to back it up...and I don't see anything on either side.

I had mentioned that I see a slander suit on this thread minutes before MCAF's press release suing SYMC for slander came out. (Look at the last paragraph on my posting.)

My posting:
techstocks.com

MCAF's posting:
techstocks.com

If it's that blatant to dopey me (and I'm not very experience in lawsuits), there is no question that MCAF will win the slander suit.

Cheers,
Joanna
