With the following happening at INTEL :
1) The fabs at SANTA CLARA and ARIZONA now producing the .25 micron processor
2) The fabs in NEW MEXICO and IRELAND coming on line at the first of 1998 with .25 production
3) The 100 mhz buss in production and available for commercial production scale

Why doesn't INTEL skip the 333/366 mhz processor based upon the 66 mhz buss and go into full production with the new motherboard at 366 mhz or 400 mhz ?
The components and engineering know how seem to be available to make this step and to leave the competition in the dust
.
I realize the first priority for .25 production is the notebook and server market for profit reasons but I guess I don't understand the logic of selling 333/366mhz system based upon the 66 mhz buss in the first qtr 1998 .
I would appreciate your thoughts and comments

LONG INTEL

P.S. THIS IS BASED UPON " TOM 'S " INTEL ROADMAP
