I think we must be talking differently about what makes "sense". I merely mean understandable. For example, I find religion utterly preposterous and ridiculous- the stuff of farce, but I can understand why people not wired as I am wired, do not feel that way. Same for genocide. What I am talking about is merely an ability to understand that people are wired differently, coupled with an ability to imagine what they might think makes sense, if one accepts their premises. Nothing more than that.
