I saw MIchael Scheuer speak at Stanford about 2 years ago. He is a very astute observer, not the kind of person Bush and his backers want to hear from. One thing to re emphasize is how we have to be perfectly clear that bin Laden teleguiding a few terrorist sucker punches here and there is simply not going to bring the West to its knees. That we are capable of doing ourselves, with such things as the steady erosion of freedoms by opportunist scumbags like Bush/Cheney running the US into the ground these days. The hidden costs brought on by 9/11 alone are already incalculable, particularly when one realizes that Bush would have been a one term loser without that gift from Allah.
