I just looked at Google News...NOT a word about Reid and his "dealings" that I could find on any of the up front stories.... So in the search in that news, I inquired about Harry Reid...found a few pieces....including this one. At least the paper will print 2 letters to the editor....Geeze..........

Paper fails readers by not running Harry Reid's story
October 14, 2006

It is sad to see a once great newspaper like the Detroit Free Press stoop so low as to allow its leftist editorial beliefs to affect the reporting of hard news.

Recently there have been reports from other media outlets that Sen. Harry Reid, a liberal Democrat from Nevada, failed to report details of a property transfer for which he received $1 million. This may at least be a violation of Senate financial reporting requirements or could be something that could cause an ethics investigation of the senator. If our only news source was the Free Press, we would never know.

Nowhere in the Free Press could I find an article about Reid's financial dealings. Maybe I missed it. Maybe you reported on it last week when the Associated Press asked Sen. Reid about it. I highly doubt it.

During this current political season it appears that the Free Press is so biased that it won't allow hard news to be printed in their paper that may call into question the ethics of liberal democrats.

Lack of coverage shows bias

Where's the story about the Harry Reid land deal scandal? No, there's no left-wing bias in the media. Hah!
