a fellow shoe nut! yes!

wrt the skull and crossbones.....

pricey, yes. ....but if you are a yaleie....a must....<ggg>

the edward green shoes are meticulous, just wonderful

i tend to go with the designers that end in "a" or "i"

gucci, zanotti, rossi, dolce-gabbana, and of course, rene ciovilla! <vbg> a sample...

But it's too much money just for something to wear around the house, though they are obviously intended to be used with formal wear.

truthfully? if you can afford them without guilt <g> and you really enjoy them, then buy them, even if 'only' for your own personal pleasure....fact is, i've never bought a beautiful pair of designer shoes and felt regret...

you see, since i'm not a 'jewelry' person, i feel i can really splurge on shoes, shoes not being superfluous and all...<vvvbg>
