Great bit of information; thank you. It seems that the GG/GLG merger makes good sense for both corporations -- frankly, GG would seem to benefit significantly and place their capitalization at the Newmont level ($10.5 + $7.0 =~ $17.5). Am I correct here?

I remain concerned by possible exposure to a wave of nationalization in some regions.
