I don't know why so many brothers and sisters within the christian faith insist on criticizing Catholics. I suppose that when a class of people points their finger at another class and finds fault with them, it somehow makes the accuser look "holier than Thou.
Instead of looking for faults in anyone we, as children of God, should be looking to pick one another up and edifying each other. We all know all of what people say of any denomination that they are not a member of....and God help us all certainly we all have many faults....Even those of us who subscribe to no denomination. But it is about time all of the body of Christ come together and look into our own hearts in a very personal way in an attempt to clean up what is not clean,and there is much for all of us to clean up..... Who are we that any one of us, or as a particular group, is so without sin that we have time to call our brothers dirty.
It is time that all the body of Christ put away their critical and condescending tongues. It is time that the body of Christ look to Christ for all things, and emulate Him as best we know how.His word is full of loving examples...there are no excuses.... There is no greater love in the world than He who would lay down his Life for a friend....and so many christian brothers and sisters are still at war.!It is time that we build one another up and show the love and understanding to one another that our Lord Jesus spoke to us of.!...The time is late.!
I Love you my brother Jack and it is with great respect and admiration that I read your loving posts filled with so much reverence for our Lord Jesus.
You are a good man Jack.
What a wonderfully loving witness we would be to the world if only we spent as much time writing books of the goodness of others, especially our brothers and sisters, as we do in writing about the faults of others, Especially our brothers and sisters.!
Gal 5:22-26
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
