Kim is the second generation to control the state in NK. They have a very tight rein on the education system. As Arafat proved, if you are more determined ot brainwash people than educate them, you can create a culture in which even murderous suicide is acceptable. Why would it surprise that Kim could get the people of NK to march in unison?
