As for pissing off Al Qaeda, I like what Hitchens said. If we cut and run from Iraq, they'd be pissed off about Afghanistan. If we cut and run from Afghanistan they'd be pissed off about Israel. If we quit backing Israel, they'd be pissed off about the Saudi government. If we quit assisting the Saudi government, they'd be pissed off about Egypt. If we quit assisting the Egyptian government, they'd be pissed off about something else. No matter what we gave them, it would never satisfy them, and finally they'd demand that we make our women wear chador and we pay the dhimmi tax.

F' em. Let's piss them off every day of the week.
