"We" put Shi'as in charge? You mean, like, we caused a Shi'a majority in the country?

Talibani, the President of Iraq, is Kurdish. Maliki, the Prime Minister, is Shi'a. Who put them in power? The Iraqi National Assembly. Who voted for the Iraqi National Assembly? The Iraqi people. Remember the purple fingers?

There are Sunnis in the Iraqi National Assembly but it's just not possible for them to have a majority because, well, because they are a minority. Unless they form a coalition with other parties.
