Steam baths for the homeless seems like a fine idea. Let's draft a proposal!

You know Chris public bath houses were very public and very common before we all got indoor plumbing. many older hotels, theres one in Montreal were simply rows of rooms with common toilets and showers on each floor. There is in Toronto still a public Baths where people can go to get clean. The "Gay" attribution is rather new to the whole idea. Lots of men particularly Jewish men went to the baths to be clean for Sabbath. I noted today in the paper they have found a basement and put in a homeless shelter for the winter, but now they need transitional housing, housing to allow people to build up an infrastructure before they take on living on their own, with support programs and something that sound suspiciously like a 12 step program for the homeless. Of course I can see that Liberals would hate to see the homeless actually making steps to get themselves back into society, making jokes and giggling like schoolgirls at a dirty word. But perhaps Conservatives can find a way to find homes for the homeless and get a start on the process, tis sure the Liberals will only ever talk about it like they talk about healthcare.
