trading philosophy. understand your actions. if you assess the market as having structural problems and take a position, based upon probabilities, that it is not wise to be long, as Hussman has done, it is undeniable that you will not generate strong market performance if the markets generally go up, as they have done. If the weatherman says there is a 10% chance of rain and yet it rains, my reaction will not be to never listen to the weatherman again. Lower probability outcomes happen all the time.
