I had no problem with Hussman being 100% hedged into the big up move. I have a big problem with his decision to get long at this point and plan to get longer in the near future.

This market is pegged at a 85%+ rsi for the longest time since 1999. His decision to lift his hedges off now with call options is misguided in my opinion.

His methodology makes him like the market higher and dislike the market lower. This buy high, sell low trend chasing mentality is killing his returns.
