And I use it, whether you believe it or not. In fact, a basic dictum of life in any society, which is often attributed to Jesus amongst others, is "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". In other words, if you have respect for other people they will have respect for you. Likewise, "inanimate" things -- like the earth itself. In other words, treat everything, including life, properly, and you will be treated properly. |
