Concerning beeing a failure Paul gives us a paradox and then he gives us the answer to it when he says in Rom 7:24-25 " O wretchet man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God-through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin". the conclusion is then that the " new man" ( new nature) born of God has worth the "old man" (old nature) is worthless acording to God.
