Consumption taxes are regressive. If governments are reduced to defense and infrastructure, exactly who is going to see that our food isn't full of bacteria, our cars don't fall apart, the stocks and bonds we buy are legitimate, the property we buy is actually ours, the drugs we use are effective and safe etc. etc.

Your viewpoint is so childish and simplistic it isn't even in the realm of reality. If you want to pretend to be a tough libertarian then GO TO AFGHANISTAN and be a libertarian. That's where true capitalists and true libertarians go...the wild, wild middle east.
