I guess that after cedar Point equipment is used; the cost to cable operators may save long distance charges if docsis server are used to connect from cable operator to cable operator but thru email packets and sip phones to anywhere around the world. In other words, its local telephone to local telephone using broadband transmission instead of 64kb digital boxes(pots).
