Wimpy, we did great under Clinton economically. The Bush economic scheme is good for the top 1-2% only plus the oil companies and health gougers. It is not good for the vast majority. And while Bush's economic numbers look ok on the surface, they're mainly deficit spending driven. The "growth" Bush talks about is mainly a huge gfrowth in deficit spending. GDP counts deficit spending as a positive, but it really isn't. Nor is using up too much of our natural resources or polluting the environment. Those are big negatives we pay for later.

Clinton left a 225 billion surplus in 2000 with projected surpluses into the multi-trillions. Bush more than reversed that.
