The jubilation is etched on their faces and the message is clear - the British are no longer welcome here in Iraq.

This group of Iraqis are seen dancing for joy around the burning wreckage of a UK diplomatic vehicle which was destroyed by a rocket propelled grenade on the streets of Basra.

The attack came just days after Britain's most senior soldier General Sir Richard Dannatt sparked a political storm by claiming that UK troops should get out of Iraq 'some time soon' because their presence was 'exacerbating the security problems.' ...
