I can't find the link to the story. But I remember it pretty well because it really burned me up. The kid was playing basketball when he fell victim to the gang shooting. He walked to the hospital were he was told to wait at the doorstep for the ambulance (from another hospital, I think)...the hospital could always claim they did not think the wound was bad enough and they thought someone else was better qualified...incidentally, if I cut my finger is that an emergency? What if am dying of cancer, is that an emergency? What about kidney failure? Just how obviously sever does my case have to be to qualify?
