I'm more concerned with this type of government behavior than I am with the Military Commissions thing. And, shudder, it wasn't George Bush who burned down the Davidian Compound, it was Clinton and Reno. Ruby Ridge, too.

As an example, consider the Branch Davidians; the FBI stated they were producing drugs even though they knew the Davidians weren't. This was done in order to get the military equipment they wanted (tanks and helicopters) to employ against the sect.
