Canadians Celebrate Tax Freedom Day On June 30 Canada's Tax Freedom Day, the day Canadians finally start working for themselves, came on June 30, according to the Fraser Institute. Odd that your Fraser Institute has June 30th and the one I found has Jun 19th. I noticed that your Fraser institute didn't mention which tax year, while the US version mentions 2006. Comparing different years? No way, that would be a lack of honesty and integrity.... what's your explanation?
