In finding contrarian invstments, I focus on the RELATIVE daily traded volume of any given issue and do not pay attention to any particular seasonal factor, except on the week of option expiration. YHOO is a good example in the current week. The stock is influenced by the battle between the very short-term put/call holders. Otherwise, the stock has all the characteristics of a timely contrarian investment.
