As a student and practitioner of the Elliott Wave Principle, I find those "terror charts" lucid and... understandable. Members of the Jihadi movements are religiously, intellectually and emotionally attuned to each other -- and they act as a crowd - or, a herd. The reason I am writing this is to point out that there doesn't have to be a single entity which would orchestrate those upswings and "corrections" in the numbers of attacks. This is how crowds behave on their own accord.
