<<I 'think' the CSCC buy was a reaction to the buy of USRX by COMS, and it wasn't well planned.)>>

This had been discussed long before the actual merger announcement.
COMS announced the USRX buyout in February, ASND in April, but ASND
actually finalized on June 30, ahead of COMS.

By that time they already had made a decision to drop a CSCC product
line that overlapped ASND's. Usually companies try to merge mgt first
and products later.

In July, they already had joint sales training going (thats part of
why the 8K for July was low).

In September they announce the NTT contract - a MAJOR new win for
CSCC products, and NTT was not a CSCC customer prior to the merger.
That sales staff must have been doing something right.

Yep thats it, a poorly planned merger.
