It's called tough love! Yes, you are right.

And for the dreaded DAOD it was tougher :)
"Deliberate Act of Disobedience" rather than just 'getting into serious trouble"

hehe..

As I recall we didn't have a huge list of DAOD's... just enough so children would realize those were not to be violated without serious repercussion :)
Everything cannot be a DAOD or they lose their important standing in expected behavior :)
