I don't like how McCain is passed off as some kind of Republican "moderate". His voting record is anything but moderate. Sure he's been a maverick on a couple of issues and gone toe to toe with Bush. But that probably has more to do with his Presidential ambitions than a moderate demeanor; his overall voting record leans in the conservative direction. It's more typlical rightwing GOP.
