Three Weeks is a Long Time John McIntyre
I don't disagree that three weeks is a long time in politics but then you have to be careful who is saying what. While Real Clear Politics is suppose to be fair and neutral, it would seem that McIntyre who is its co-founder has a Republican bias.......an example is the article below.
In fact, he's been pretty much a naysayer right along when it comes to the Dems winning one of the houses. Occasionally, he will write something favorable to the Dems but its mostly the right he thinks has the best chances. And he said as much on Larry Kudlow's show.
Another example of his bias.........has to do with MT. Most people think Tester, the Dem, has a shot at winning the MT senatorial race even though its a red state. The latest poll which is from MT State University says the race breaks up this way: Burns [R] 35%; Tester [D] 46%. First there is no question this is an outlier poll. Other polls show the contest to be closer. Nonetheless, this poll at least indicates Tester has a good chance of winning. In an article written since this poll came out, McIntyre states MT will likely go to the Republicans. I was very surprised when I read that comment. There are many more examples like these. While RCP claims to be neutral, I'm afraid I don't think that's true for one of its cofounders.

Have The Democrats Walked Into a Trap......Again?
By John McIntyre

This year, however, beginning with Cindy Sheehan, followed by Katrina, Harriet Miers, the Fitzgerald investigation, and the negative drip-drip-drip of reporting out of Iraq, Bush’s job approval continued to drop into the beginning of November.
