A young man I know well, a nice, bright guy, spent a fair amount of time playing poker on line to supplement his... financial resources while at Harvard Law. He was quite consistently successful. He told me that part of the fun was being able to "read" the personalities of other participants based on the way they played the game. He liked it. So, I guess it all depends... :)
