I can't believe you responded to a post that is over five years old. -gg-

Allot has changed since I wrote that post. I acquired a new dog. She is a sweet mutt.........lab/chow chow blend. Blond and medium weight. Our son asked us to take care of her until he could find a place to live that took dogs. LOL That was in Dec of 01 and we still have her.

She is not Fred...........there will never be another Fred. I found a package that was delivered by UPS while I was gone torn up and strewn all over the yard when I got home today. (I hope she liked the half bottle of green tea capsules she comsumed)

She is pretty worthless, but a loving, happy go lucky dog, and a great companion. Although she has some medical problems that means a limited diet and some weekly grooming.

I applaud you for standing up for your principles. I do hope all of the dogs your former employer has decided to stock find loving, caring homes, but these mills inevitably breed dogs with serious problems. Life sucks for many of these pets. I have a hard time tolerating this practice.

I bookmarked all of the sites you linked.
