Wireless devices have changed dramatically since the early '90s. In the early days of cellular, devices were one-dimensional.

For some reason, Nokia keeps forgetting that they signed their WCDMA agreement in July '01. I am fairly sure that they had some idea that handsets were going to include cameras, MP3 players, color screens and advanced processors by the middle of 2001.
