You really have to be stupid to believe the pre-election polls - like the winger loons on Soupal's and the View from Left of Center boards. Polls generally favor the more liberal candidate because the media is biased liberal. I've noticed this ever since the Carter-Reagan race. I recall that in the late summer / late fall that year, Carter was supposed to be way ahead. It's all an attempt to create a bandwagon effect for the more liberal candidate.
