The thing is, there is a method to the madness. I see it as a consistent pattern with a clear intent from a collective mindset, not from some vast conspiracy.
The MSM & DNC aren't idiots. It simply cannot be sheer coincidence that polls consistently overstate voter preferences for lib candidates, popularity ratings & lib causes while they simultaneously understate the same for conservatives.
The exact same thing can be said for all of these surveys & studies that portray conservatives & the military as Eeeevil, wrong, incompetent & almost always have outcomes that favor the lib world view.
And then there are the thoroughly documented shenanigans dominate the "newz" from the liberal MSM.
No doubt bias is a significant factor. But if bias actually was the major reason, you'd think by now that some MSM outlets would have gone public noting what we all see so clearly (the bogus poll results always favor libs) & done something to correct the problem.
A vast majority of the polls, surveys, studies & our "newz" consistently favors the lib world view & frequently slanders, smears or otherwise calumniously portrays conservatives. Add to it how adamantly resistant the MSM & DNC are when confronted with real facts & credible evidence that thoroughly debunks these polls, surveys & the "newz". Then consider the tactics they employ to continue to repeat these now discredited polls, surveys, studies & "newz" as if they were all still rock solid fact.
This isn't all sheer coincidence. The odds of so many lopsided outcomes that consistently favor one side & are detrimental to another are far outside the realm of statistical possibility. There simply aren't enough plausible explanations to make it all go away.
Despite the success of Talk Radio, the internet & one cable news outlet, the MSM still dominates the "newz" that a vast majority of Americans consume. And the MSM is well aware of this fact, just as many within the MSM are well aware of the plethora of facts that clearly discredit many of these polls, surveys & the "newz". However, as Talk Radio, the internet & FoxNews have continued to grow dramatically, the MSM & DNC have increasingly become more shrill.
At some point it becomes clear it's not just bias. To me, a real pattern can be seen.
And it's a pattern that is intended to indoctrinate Americans to a liberal world view. It's a pattern intended to affect elections favorable to the DNC.
As I said, I don't believe it's some vast conspiracy either.
IMHO, it's just an outgrowth of the liberal, groupthink cocoon that has dominated the MSM for decades.
We are, after all, talking about a group who have for decades blurred the lines between reality & fantasy (the leftist revisionist world view) & called it hard "newz" by "objective", professional journalists. They are the same people who repeatedly justify acts of treachery coupled with blatant lies & deceit on the front pages of the "newz". And the list of reality defying acts by these same people is a mile long & thoroughly documented.
The fact that these same people continued to defend & believe all of the BS long after it was discredited is quite telling too.
IOW, these people have a long, long history of deceiving themselves first.
I don't doubt for a second though that more than a few folks inside the MSM are keenly aware of what is going on & simply do nothing about it (it's for the greater good, etc. - libs do have some odd ways to justify their dirty deeds). Meanwhile many, many others are oblivious to it all because they work & live 24/7 inside an echo chamber where all their peers reinforce the same leftist world view. |
