Within 2 years, Kim will be gone and China and SK will determine the future of NK. I dont think SK wants any part of reunification and will have no problem with NK following the Chinese model for growth and development. Nukes will go and hopefully between now and then the US will understand the grand plan and not drive NK to proliferate nuke and missile technology to terrorists. IF they can live with Kim for awhile longer, we need to be able to as well.
And analysing US fp over the years, it seems to me that the rest of the world realizes things take time while the US is infected with the instant gratification thing which now includes spreading democracy to places where the pre-reqs are just not in place.
