10/20/06 Update
Another up week for the Nasdaq Biotech Index. At Friday's close, the NBI was up 1.88% YTD (vs. up .51% YTD at its 10/13/06 close). The median for the Charity Contest portfolios also gained for the week. It is now up 3.56% YTD (vs. up 2.39% YTD at the 10/13/06 close). At Friday's close, 25 of the 40 Charity Portfolios were in the black YTD and 23 of the 40 portfolios were outperforming the NBI.
Wilder kept his grip on first place and his portfolio closed the week up 54.2% YTD. RKRW's portfolio remained in second place with a 43.0% YTD gain.
