The war on poverty. The war on cancer. The war on education (how's that one going). The war to give us unlimited free fission electricity. The war to give us unlimited free fusion electricity. The war on cancer. The TVA (Still going strong 50 years after accomplishing its mission). 3/4 of HEW's budget (at least the fraction that can be accounted for). But if you are a "glass is 9/10 full of healthy air" kind of guy and think the Federal government is doing a bang up job, go ahead and keep voting for Republicans, who have been running it for a decade.
